The FBI most wanted hacker

I think every hacker should go through this story before he start doing anything relevent to hacking.

Kevin Mitnick
This is a name that will remind in the history of the computer systems and technology’s for ever. Kevin start with the cheating tricks from a kid, when he was on 12 he found a way to travel all around Los Angeles with the city bus for free and whenever he wants to,and that was just the beginning.
At the age of 16 he break in to the Digital Equipment Corporation and copied DEC’s software. He get busted for that and get charged for 12 months in the jail with a 3 years of supervised release.Near the end of his supervised release, Mitnick hacked into Pacific Bell voice mail computers. After a warrant was issued for his arrest, Mitnick fled, becoming a fugitive for two and a half years.
For that time he done “coast-to-coast hacking spree.” The CNN article, “Legendary computer hacker released from prison,” explains that “he hacked into computers, stole corporate secrets, scrambled phone networks and broke into the national defense warning system.” He then hacked into computer expert and fellow hacker Tsutomu Shimomura’s home computer, which led to his undoing.
Today, Mitnick has been able to move past his role as a black hat hacker and become a productive member of society. He served five years, about 8 months of it in solitary confinement, and is now a computer security consultant, author and speaker.
