LDAP , called Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. It is using to look up information a server by programs, likes email.
LDAP servers exist at three levels: big public servers, large organizational servers at universities and corporations, and smaller LDAP servers for workgroups.
Using LDAP server by three server:
1. Create a transformation. See Create a Transformation for more information.
2. Open the Formula Builder by selecting a node in the target tree and then clicking on the Formula button under the tree. See How to Use the Formula Builder for more information.
3. In the Formula Builder’s function tree (in the lower left pane) scroll down to the LDAP section to find the functions you can use with LDAP: AP servers for workgroups.
